5 Big Lessons Learned Already in 2021
I thought that 2020, with all the trials and tribulations of the pandemic, social unrest, and our collective inability to go out and gather as we always have, was astonishing.
Holy cow, the events of the first 3 weeks of 2021 only magnify the extreme situations and conditions that we are all living in and under.
I turn, as I often do, to quotes for my inspiration and instruction. Here are 5 that to me have some potentially insightful lessons that might be good to absorb, ponder, and act on.
"It is not who is right, but what is right, that is of importance."
"Without reflection, we go blindly on our way, creating more unintended consequences, and failing to achieve anything useful."
-Margaret J. Wheatley
"You cannot demand truth, and then select half and throw the inconvenient remainder away."
"Our ability to reach unity in diversity will be the beauty and the test of our civilization."
"Bad times, hard times, this is what people keep saying; but let us live well, and times shall be good. We are the times: Such as we are, such are the times."
